Render to the Ferrari Berlinetta F12 in Spider version

Ferrari introduced F12 Berlinetta of how private a few days before the start of the Geneva Motor Show. Later, in the Swiss Exhibition took place the official presentation to the press and the public and there confirmed that it is the fastest Ferrari that has ever been built.

As well, a few days later of his presentation, already began to distribute on the web the first renders of the model in version "spider". While it is a speculation graphic work of an American site Carscoop reader, i.e. that the result is in tune with what could be a real model. In this sense, the image anticipates what surely will present Ferrari in the coming months or perhaps next year, which should be the convertible version of the model.

As they remember those who closely follow the news from the world of the engine, Ferrari has traveled a similar path with 458 Italy model that reached to replace the 430. The Italian automotive remained silent on the release of a "spider", but shortly afterwards rumours that had emerged were confirmed and the convertible became a reality.

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta mounted V12 naturally aspired engine that develops 740 horsepower and a couple of 690 Nm, arriving to the rear wheels via a dual clutch F1 gearbox. As announced by Ferrari, the model can accelerate from 0 to 100 in 3.1 seconds and to reach 200 Km/h in just 8.5. Top speed It has been estimated at "more than 340 Km/h".

The ambitious plans for the future of Maserati

Sports manufacturers usually do not have one sufficient trade network as to reach everyone, brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and the own Maserati have always accused this fact, but the Trident factory wants to change their situation.

At the end of 2013 waiting list have an enlargement in the number of licensees and authorized workshops, but not only this, but that they want more vehicles to expand its catalog and offer each client its perfect Maserati. With this they expect multiplied by 10 sales in 2015, a very ambitious objective, but who believe that it is possible.

In total will be three models that are to come in the next few years and this is the speed with which must open up new dealers is a matter almost of State. Concessions will reach the 500 worldwide and forecast sales will increase from the past 6,000 exercise the 60,000 for only 3 years.

Harald Wester, CEO of Maserati, said a specialised medium:

We need a greater number of distributors around 500 before our new models reaching the market. Most of this expansion will happen at the end of this year.

Weapons that use will be the new generation of the Quattroporte to rival your Mercedes S-class and the BMW 7 series to you and which will debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2013 to market in March of that same year. The economic offer remain unchanged and will be the basic version of the Maserati flagship at about 100,000€.

But if they want to increase both its sales, they will have to market a smaller of the Quattroporte version to compete with the BMW 5 series and the Audi A6. This car, which has no name, would come at the end of 2013 with a price which will be around 60,000 euros. All this should add the anticipation of the arrival of an SUV at the end of 2014 and the replacement of the GranTurismo in 2015, just when those 60,000 vehicles sold are estimated.

Maserati has a very ambitious project in their minds and that would place as one of the brands of sports vehicles with higher sales in the world. From here we can not wish for anything other than the perfect realization of these ideas.

Pininfarina talks about the future of the Cambiano

One of the most beautiful models that we saw during the past Geneva Motor Show was the Pininfarina Cambiano. A Concept Car that might be under consideration whether or not to end production, at least even in a limited edition. Or at least, that is what has hinted the own CEO of Pininfarina, Silvio Angori, during the last Swiss event, because according to him:
We are evaluating the potential of the various companies and buyers provados, who are interested in models of high performance and low emissions in a luxury model such as the Cambiano

In addition, the own Angori spoke about the possibility if the company could build or not 10 units of the Cambiano. And it seems that it might be, but that each unit could cost € 1 million, although if the number grow up to 70 or 75 units, the price could decline to 400,000 € per unit. That Yes, to Pininfarina would take between 24 or 30 months to start producing the new Cambiano, although at the moment there is nothing definitive.

A model which we talked before the Geneva Motor Show, which is an elegant and luxurious GT designed by Italian brand, and which stands out for a line between sedan and sports two doors that stands out due to lack of central pillar. In addition, it employs measures approximately 5,040 mm long, 2,000 mm wide and 1,360 mm high, and has the characteristic of having capacity of four passengers with a trunk with a capacity of up to 450 litres.

We must also remember that this is an EREV, an extended range electric vehicle, and that it has four electric motors in each wheel, able to develop a power of about 805 HP and 640Nm, and that thanks to an micro hybrid diesel engine, it is able to generate enough electricity to power go recharging the batteries when they are exhausted.

Hennessey launches Venom Spyder GT

Although at first glance it may seem a vitamin Lotus Elise, the Hennessey Venom GT is a sporting event and right with nothing more and nothing less than 1,200 hp. A power, now, will be able to enjoy to discovered sky before the American coach - converted to manufacturer - has decided to submit the convertible version. However, more than a convertible to use New Hennessey Venom GT Spyder might be characterized as a targa whose roof is nothing more than a removable panel. Once removed, can be seen even bars anti-roll, a detail really needed when we speak of a sport to overcome (theoretically) the 400 km/h.

Despite the simplicity of the system, if it is that a removable Panel you can be called "

system", Hennessey charge neither more nor less than about $150,000 for the conversion, bringing the total price a prohibitive 1.1 million dollars. Taking into account that the chassis is based on a Lotus Elise and that engine is the known LS9 Chevrolet that equips the Corvette ZR1, but conveniently powered with two turbo-compressors, I think it's a somewhat excessive price, especially if we consider what you can expect to buy with that amount - as for example a Bugatti Veyron.

Hennessey Venom GT
The truth is that taking into account the Lotus Elise, the model in which the project has already developed in his day as a pure roadster, a version of the Hennessey Venom GT was simply a matter of time. However, this difference in price to the version coupe seems frankly excessive, although the small American manufacturer defends claiming that version Spyder Gets a "still best driving experience". Certainly note the thrust of the 1,200 HP with the mane to the wind should be exciting, that there is no doubt...

For now it is not known or the maximum speed that can reach the Spyder version - is assumed to be lower than the version coupe - or the changes that have had to do in the frame to justify the $150,000 requested for the conversion. Looking ahead to next year, Hennessey intends to make only five units of the spectacular Venom GT.
